The Slovak coloratura soprano Paulina Ovádková, based in Vienna, is a highly sought-after young singer who performs internationally on both the opera stage and in the concert hall. In Hamburg, she was engaged for two seasons as Stasi in Kálmán’s Die Csárdásfürstin and as Valencienne in Lehár’s Die lustige Witwe.
Her other notable opera engagements include the National Opera in Košice, where she performed as Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and as Adele in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, the State Opera Banská Bystrica as Adele and Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, and the Stadttheater Bad Hall (Austria) as Queen of the Night.
In addition to her operatic work, Paulina Ovádková is internationally active as a performer of early music. In the United States, she has sung works including Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Requiem, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, Schubert’s Mass in G Major, and John Rutter’s Magnificat. In Vienna, she regularly appears in prestigious concert halls, particularly the Golden Hall of the Wiener Musikverein, where she performs with leading conductors.
She completed her Bachelor’s degree with distinction at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW).
