Slovak soprano Paulina Ovádková is a sought-after coloratura soprano with a focus on opera, operetta, and early music. Known for her clear, agile voice and vibrant stage presence, she has performed at renowned theaters across Europe and the United States.
She regularly appears as the Queen of the night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and as Adele in Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, with performances at the Stadttheater Košice and Stadttheater Banská Bystrica (Slovakia), Kammeroper Hamburg, and the Stadttheater Bad Hall (Austria). In 2024, she was engaged for four months as Stasi in Kálmán’s Die Csárdásfürstin at Kammeroper Hamburg. In the upcoming 2025 season, she will return there as Valencienne in Lehár’s Die lustige Witwe and will also appear as Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro at Stadttheater Banská Bystrica.
As a performer of early music, Paulina Ovádková has also been active internationally. In the United States, she has sung Mozart’s Krönungsmesse, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, Schubert’s Messe in G-Dur, and John Rutter’s Magnificat. In Austria, she performs regularly in prestigious venues, including the Goldener Saal des Wiener Musikvereins. She completed her Bachelor’s degree with distinction at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW).
